I was pleasantly surprised with Wired's prompt, same day, response to my email
request for an estimate and a next day visit for installation of a whole
house fan.
Alexander and Tim did a professional job removing the old fan and installing
the new one. They located the new fan nicely within the footprint of the
larger old fan and used the wiring of the old fan for the new fan controls.
They were very considerate in wearing shoes covering in the house and cleaning
up when the work was completed. Alexander went the extra mile by putting a
temporary masking tape and cardboard patch over an open area in the ceiling
where the old fan existed but the new fan did not over. This prevents exposure
to the attic until a drywall patch can be installed.
The work was completed start to finish in about 2 hrs. I am very please with
their work and would highly recommend them.
